There are two solutions: Basic Protection and Plugin Protection.
A. Basic Protection:
1. Go to “Settings” - “Discussion” and check “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”.
2. Click “Save Changes”.
B. Plugin Protection:
1. Go to “Plugins” - “Add New”, search for “Akismet”, then install and activate the plugin.
2. Go to “Settings” - “Akismet Anti-Spam”, register for an Akismet account, get an API key, and enter it into the plugin settings.
